    Freya

How wonderful for Freya to have such a loving family and so much joy her last months. The best gift you could have given her. I'm so sorry for your loss. My first greyhound died shortly after my father's death.
  2. I'm sorry. This is the time for grief and crying. Calmer, happier days will come in their own time.
  3. Run with the wind, and know that you are loved.
  4. It sounds like Gracie is coming along wonderfully. Welcome!
  5. Sending sympathy on the loss of your Trinkett. I've never had a shy or spooky dog, but I love having two at a time. Watching the different personalities and interactions makes everything more fun. Even when they're not closely bonded, I think they really enjoy having another dog around. The only "one-at-a-time" problem I've experienced is when I've been working obedience with them and have to shut one of them away at a time. But that was only for 10-15 minutes per dog.
  6. She'll have to settle for good as new, because she couldn't possibly be better. Good luck!
  7. So tell us how Chevy is walking -- painfree? No boots?
  8. That 8/28 x-ray is just frightening. Best wishes to Dakota on his new life.
  9. Sending our best thoughts for your beautiful girl.
  10. Nowdays, with generations of overuse of antibiotics, many infections will not respond to many antibiotics. And as posted above, sepsis can be a swift and silent killer. Don't worry about chipping unless you really want to. to you and Thorulf.
  11. I'm so sorry for your loss of Tanner. Run free, sweet boy.

    Scout

Adding our sympathy for your loss.
  13. Nine years together is not nearly enough. I'm so sorry.
  14. Godspeed, Sweetie. I hope your memory brings comfort to those you left behind.
  15. Very talented girl. I forget -- how are the sutures and gum medicine related?
  16. My Scout's nails never bled much, but he didn't want me to touch them when they were separating. It would usually take 2-3 days from when I first started noticing a problem. I never even thought of trying to cut the nails or bandage the foot; if I had we would have been talking 2-person-and-a-muzzle job. Quik-Stop is also painful. Just brainstorming -- what about a Therapaw or similar dog boot?
