  1. We were having the same issue with our gh until we started putting it in peanut butter. Now there is no problem. Wish you best in finding the right solution.
  2. I can't believe this. Oh I am so sorry. Godspeed sweet boy and may the wind always be at your back. My heart goes out to you...............
  3. Thank you so much. I am headed over to one of the stores this weekend. I am so excited you posted this. So I started reading everything about this greyt product. Thanks so much for sharing.
  4. I had just noticed that the Honest Kitchen was carrying goat's milk in a powder form but I am going to tryi your suggestion. Where are you buying it? Thanks.
  5. Clothes pin for the nose and gloves for your hands LOL. We used to give to our pups and I was OK with it but hubby had a problem.
  6. Thanks everyone for your feedback. Very helpful!
  7. Anyone having problems getting their gh covered under this ins. plan? One of my adopters is having issues with VIP. Our gh's come off the Caliente Mexico track and their is no medical history until they come into rescue and we do the usual - altering them, dental check and vaccinations. Any advice? Thanks.
  8. A friend of mine has a lab and is thinking of doing the laser therapy instead of prescriptions. i read somewhere there is Class IV laser therapy that you can purchase online. Any information you can send my way for my gf would be appreciated. The arthritis is bad in this pup. Thanks.
  9. I am so sorry that your baby had to go through all those extractions and that no one notified you. I thought most vets contacted the owner to let them know how many need to be extracted and get the OK from the owner (that is how our dentist does it)
  10. A gh in our group passed away and they were giving their gh the Seven Forest Corydalis 5. They gave me an unopened bottle 250 tablets/750 mg. First one to PM I will send it to you.

  13. Thanks for the information. We have used pill pockets but the expense was too much so we have been hiding the pill in peanut butter and it has worked well.
  14. As I read this the tears are flowing down my face! What a grand greyhound. Thank you for sharing those wonderful memories, pictures. Godspeed Sorella and may the wind always be at your back. Jan, we are so sorry for another loss at CG!
  15. Totally agree with Batmom. I would like to think I would do the same for my dog if she became picky.
  16. You can also look at your local dog store (up scale of course). We have an upscale dog bakery store that sells Primal turkey necks , three to a pack, and they are a good size.
  17. No experience with this bobble head but I noticed your gh statue. I have the same one in my LR. Did you get it at Ashley Furniture?
  18. We are so happy you have found us. Beautiful pics of your pups on the beach. Look forward to stories and more stories and of course pictures
  19. This is common practice at our home with three dogs and three cats. Our cats get to playing and running around the house and one of the gh's goes for the cat just because she wants to be part of the playing. Perhaps that is what it is for your pup too.
  20. Mary, thanks so much for the update on our little Fiona girl. I was going to email you tonight at home. Sounds positive and we keep her in our prayers and thoughts.
  21. Our three dogs swear by Acana Ranchlands out of Canada. Firm poop that rolls down the hill. I don't care how much they charge I will keep buying it. 30# around $76 in the US Love Acana and I agree with the poop output LOL
  22. Our three dogs swear by Acana Ranchlands - poop rolls down the hill. Comes from Canada so might be hard to find in some stores.
  23. I have one with SLO and I do not keep the feet wrapped. She goes to a holistic vet and is on a Chinese herb which has helped slow it down.
  24. My heart goes out to you and like others have said you just never know. In the late 90's I had Hobbi an 8.y.o. who had a slight cough and then some blood came up. Rushed her to the ER vet on a weekend and the vet said probably some fluid in her lungs and I could probably pick her up the next day which was Monday. Got the call from the ER vet Monday a.m. - she had died sometime during the night. Like you I was devastated. I did not want to do an autopsy because it would not change anything but the vet wanted to do it at his expense - she had an a heart defect that went unnoticed for years.
