  1. I am so very sorry. Our angel Jack passed away the same way but in our house after we got home and he was playing with his stuffy. A scream, a seizure and then he was gone in my arms at the young age of 8.5. It is terribly heartbreaking and will take time to heal as the moment will be revived again and again in your mind. In time the pain will subside and you smile again at all the good times with your girl. Hang in there.

  8. I am sorry that you got bit, that is scary and as you say heartbreaking because it's obvious you love your pup even through all these events. Some Greys need more time to settle, some are right at home right away. On thing that does stand out to me in your post and please do not take this the wrong way, you mention "bumping" him a number of times. Not being an expert however this may have unsettled him more each time and now his reaction has escalated. I know when these pups are young and still with their pack before racing, this happens often (other pups bumping/stepping on each other) and they react similarly thus you see scars on a number of pups. Is there any way to provide him a safer place to lay down that would avoid getting bumped? It may allow him to gain back the security he is seeking.

  18. I am so very sorry to read of your boys diagnosis. We have also been down this road and while we opted for amputation and were lucky to get a lot of time with our angel Charlie, when cancer returned I made the brutal decision to let him go. As many have already responded, we have the responsibility to help our pups and care for them like you are doing. Unfortunately the ultimate burden is having to make the decision to set them free when there are no alternatives. Your boy is in a lot of pain based on your description and you have two choices, immediately up his meds and/or add meds such as gabapentin, tramadol, etc or make the decision to set him free from the pain. My heart breaks for you as it's not easy but I know you love your boy and it's time not to be selfish but generous and think of him.
  19. A very shocking loss, I am very sorry. Cindy had a beautiful white face. Run free Cindy, run free sweetie...
