  1. Happy Day Seamie!!! You look very comfy and relaxed outside enjoying your day. :beatheart :beatheart
  2. Can you give him a fast pace start? Use treats and command up. You might have to jump in there with him a few times. You will have to repeat like 10 times a day and lots of praise. I agree that if your dh keeps lifting him up, your dog will always wait for him. If that doesn't work there are small steps you can make to put back there so he can stair walk up.
  3. I don't know any on the West side. I know a great grey savy one in Medina but that might be little far for you.
  4. I grew up in Cleveland Heights. I tried to pm you but I think you need more posts to be able to do that (private message). Woohoo maybe a summer play date for Lexie
  5. Welcome!! They are both adorable
  6. Welcome. I am from Ohio too. Northeast Ohio I think I recognize the kennel. GAO?
  7. I have used the medipaw too. It is great because it is tall. It isn't completely waterproof so when Lexie had a bandage on I covered her foot first with a grocery store plastic bag then used the boot.
  8. Ouch that looks painful. Hope she feels better soon :beatheart
  9. My vet gave me this recipe and I used it for 4 years. Mix 1 TBSP of Tylan powder with 9 TBSP of cornstarch. Then 1/2 to 1tsp of mixture, mix in food. Lexie always ate it up
  10. My vet helped me decide because I knew it would be difficult. ((hugs)))

    Little Millie

    Oh no so sorry!!!! (((hugs)))))
  12. The Murray cream never worked for Lexie. My vet said to try abreva. it seemed to slow things down after the corn was hulled. I still can't hull them at home. Lexie's corn is not in the middle of her paw but by an edge and I am afraid I will hurt her. I usually take her every couple of months. I tried the duct tape. It does help bring the corn to the surface but takes a long time.I also have two vets and they have no problem with each other. My regular one and the gray savy one... .
  13. I have tried so many probiotics with Lexie. She does excellent on the vetri probiotic chews.
  14. Lexie was on tylan powder daily for 4 years. She never had any side effects and all her bloodwork was always normal. The last two years since we finally found a food that agrees with her, I no longer have to give her the powder. Once in awhile when she goes to a kennel for a week she will get runny poo. I just give her the tylan powder for a few days. You should notice a difference within a day or two. My vet suggests this mixture which is what I used. Take 1 TBSP of tylan powder and mix with 9 TBSP of cornstarch. The dose for the dog would then be 1/2-1 tsp of the mixture once or twice a day depending how you feed. I always mixed it in her applesauce then on her dry food. Interesting how each vet has a different opinion. My vet said there was no long term effects using that dose. Lexie eats precise foundation chicken and rice.
  15. Lexie was on tylan powder for years. She never had bad gas.
  16. I think they have child proof things that can go over that handle. We have some doors in our house with those same handle and they are so old you don't even need to turn the handle. Lexie just pushes her nose and the door opens....
  17. My vet use to tell me that most meds can stay 9 months to a year after expiration, but I would check with your own vet to be safe.
