I do Lexie's myself. Our vet charges 10 dollars for all 4 paws. hmm I should start my own dog trimming business. I could make a mint..lol..When my dachsie was alive I would give her one cheerio per nail and she let me trim them..lol. Lexie is real good. she even lets me use a nail file after to round em out..lol. I guess I am lucky.

I just went thru this. vet said if bleeding wrap but try to keep unwrapped at night. He said it will heal faster that way.

lexie had a big bald spot on her back and the dermatological vet said to use barlians fish oil. It is a liquid. I did and the bald spot was gone in a month. I gave a tsp at each meal. You have to get it at an organic store. It is like 10 bucks a bottle. it is epecially for animals. I don't know if it will work for butts but it sure grew hair back in her bald spot. gl

I think it takes a lot of love to do what your are doing. You are thinking of the dog first. Your dog will remember your ex...Myaunt was divorced from her ex for 12 years. She had not seen the dog in 12 years. She wanted to visit him because he was dying...The dog jumped up and kissed her like there was no tomorrow. They do remember people scents. I think what you aare doing is great. I know you will miss to see him daily but I think it will be better on his body not having to do those steps. Bless your heart.

club soda soak it in there good then call the carpet cleaner.. my doxie used to throw up bile all the time and the cleaner said to use club soda. It is really hard to get out.
