  1. She could never adopt cause she is allergic to dogs..lol. it is a shame people who have a dog and leave him chained outside all day. why even have a dog?? ty for the input. What kind of bones would be good for the dog he is probably so bored out there all day by himself. any cheap bones that are long lasting? oops i see someone wrote giant soup bones raw right?
  2. A friend's neighbors dog stays leashed up in their yard 24 hours. my friend is going to get service hours for walking petting ect.. the dog. She noticed the dog has black gums. Could the dog naturally have black gums?. The dog is black kind of a 50 pound mutt. Do black gums mean dehydration? What kinds of store bought bones would be good for him? I know the neighbor won't go to the vet due to costs so my friend is trying to do a few things to help the poor dog out. Any suggestions welcome. I hope this was ok to post here since the dog is not a grey.

  6. lexie has had many poop issues. we tried it all. best thing that worked for her was the tylen powder..you mix it with baking powder and give 1/2-1tsp per meal. it is an antibiotic specifially for the gut. they put dogs who have colitis on it. vet said she can be on it long term. ot was the only thing that worked for us..and she had so many tests to rule everything out. gl

  19. thanks for the update. lexie eats these sweet potatoe buddy biscuits. I have to get them from an organic store. they are the only treat that doesn't bother her stomach. Sweet potatoes must be a good thing.
  20. lexie had some bald spots and i used barleans brand flax seed oil for animals. you have to get it at an organic store. her bald spots went away. Our vet dermatologist reccommened it. It costs 10 bucks a bottle and last like 2 months. It is a liquid u keep in the fridge. lexie has a sensitive stomach. I gave her 1 tbsp with each meal (2). I buy mine at mustard seed in ohio.
