  3. we use iams low residue, beet pulp sprinkled on food and 1 tsp of tylan powder. the combination has worked wonders for over a year (knock on wood)
  4. when one of our dogs passed, the vet sent a donation in care of her name to osu. I thought that was sooo nice. the dog was 18 years old and had been at the same vet all those years so i was really touched by their gesture.

  6. wow, i didn't know that was bad for greys. someone on here told me to use small amount on gauze to rub her gums. I have been using it for a year now, no problem. why is it bad for them? Now i wonder if i should stop?

  11. I take biotene (humans use it for sensitive mouths) put some on a small piece of paper towel and rub it on her gums. Keeps them free of bacteria build up and smells good too
  12. we had to show ours how to play..tossed a ball to each other. Then i also took her to watch other dogs chasing balls. It took 4 months but it worked..lol. Ours also plays with her stuffies when we aren't looking..lol Gracie also just started after 2 years too! She will go into my son's playroom when no one is home a take out a stuffie to play with. I've only seen her play a few times and it looks like she is embarrassed when she notices me watching. I wonder why they feel when we are watching they can't play?
  13. u should make em and sell them..us not so handy people could not do such a nice job lol
  14. wow the stitch area looks really good. she won't even need plastic surgery
  15. i have heard dishwashing sopa gets rid of pests..that prob wouldnt kill the grass. might be worth a shot
  16. I noticed today that one of Lexie's large pads looks like it is starting to split..like a start of a split. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from getting worse? Or what is the best thing to put on it to help it heal the crack? Neosporin or trypzyme liquid? Or should I just leave it alone? She will be going to a kennel in 3 weeks for a few days so I am hoping to help her now before something makes it worse.
  17. ((prayers for dax))) speedy recovery
  18. we took one of our dogs ashes and put it in a flower pot outside and actually put a tree seed in it. A year later we transfered it to the ground. Kind of neat so now he has his own tree
