i take the cornstarch a lot of it put it on a paper towel and apply pressure for like 5-10 minutes. that should stop it

I just noticed today that one of lexi'es hip bones looks higher than the other. I felt them and they feel the same . Could they have always been that way and i just noticed after 2 years? She is walking running sitting..ect..fine. I know when greys get too thin you see the bones but I only see one bone more than the other. Please tell me this is normal. Maybe i should feed a lil more? I am not going to send a pic cause it would be hard to see cause one hip bone is white the other brown and lexie is still upset with me showing her rear from a previous post about a rash..lol

ok we induced..looks like just her biscuits came up and maybe 2 bulbs. hard to see in the dark with a flahlight. but whatever she had in there is gone. ty ty. she was crying when she threw up. i felt bad. i had to give her a second tblsp cause the first one nutting worked. alwyas things happen lat at night.

anyone? please I am getting worried.

Just happened 15 minutes ago. it looks like she may have eaten one or two. Her breath smelled like onions. Should i induve vomitting or do ya think thos lil tiny bulbs will be ok?

Hi and welcome! I am in an eastern suburb of cleveland. Where are u at? Maybe our dogs can have a "playdate" I am always looking for people close by to me and there really hasnt been anyone closer than 3o minutes away. Lexie is 3 years old and a therapy dog.

well it worked..i posted in an updated post. so it must have been the combination one. I only had to use one day and it is almost gone..no more redness. the vet did say it was like neosporin but stronger. We put pesticides on our dogs with the flea treatment and have to wear gloves. I guess we have to weigh what is more importnat at the time. I know I wouldntwant to get fleas so i have to put pesticides on her. ty all for caring

what is biotene? I never heard of that. can i buy that at a drugstore?

I know hydrogen peroxide is used by humans ans an antiseptic or mouth rinse or to whiten teeth. I brush my dogs teeth daily with the doggy toothpatse and was wonder if i put a lil peroxide on some gauze and get the hard to reach teeth in her mouth would that be safe? I know it is used to induce vomitting in dogs. I thought if i put a small amount on gauze ust to wipe a few teeth would be OK? What does everyone think? thanks. I wouldnt use it daily just couple times a year to get the hard to reach teeth. any doggie dentists out there?? lol

wow what a difference a day makes. I used that liqhhlor stuff just on time last night and today the redness is gone and only a small spot appears . I guess that stuff worked. I bet it was a bruise of some type and the stuff i bet was the compound stronger than neosporin. I will ask the vet tomorrow. I am so glad it looks better today. ty all for your help and support. I have learned so much on this site especially about her gi issues. The tyleson powder that someone recoomended has done wonders. (knock on wood). I only half to give her 1/2 tsp with meals and that is mixed with cornstarch so she really is getting a small amount. He poops have been normal since she has been on it for over 4 months now.

oh batman i bet your right. i opened it ..it doesnt smell like bleach but i will call monday and ask. he did say it was like neosporin but stronger and the web site you had would make sense to that. maybe my vet does know what he is doing..lol

he wont be in till monday. they dont do emergency calls. I will stop using it and call monday.
