I'm so sorry for your loss - rest in peace, Enzo.
  8. I had a greyhound who had DM. The things we found useful were: boots for his back feet when on walks, to stop the nails wearing down so much that they would bleed, a ramp for going up steps or getting in the car, and weekly swimming sessions to keep the muscles as strong as possible.

  13. When my two had growths that looked like blood blisters but didn't go away after a few weeks, I had them removed. One was a cutaneous hemangioma and one was an angiokeratoma. Both were benign but the pathology report said that if left they can sometimes progress to the malignant form, cutaneous hemangiosarcoma, so I was really glad I'd had them removed. Not saying that's what Wayne's got, but hoping for something benign in any event .
  14. I had a greyhound who used to do that. If there was a tiny mark on him, he would lick it to death. The way I used to prevent it was to put a light bandage or cover of some sort over the tiny mark before he got to it and until it healed. It was the only thing that worked for us.
  15. That's a beutiful tribute to your sweet girl.
