  1. Christiana has them in the pharmacy section...as you stand at the pick-up counter, they're to your left in front of the pharmacy windows.
  2. We purchased it at our local Walgreens pharmacy. I am sorry you are having such a hard time finding it at a reasonable cost. However, I agree with what the others have said, the dental can wait until you sort out the platelet issue.
  3. Our amicar prescription cost $30. After not being able to get it quickly for a bleeding issue with one of our hounds after extractions, we make sure we keep a 5 day supply on hand.
  4. WOW! Exact symptoms with our girl Tiggy a few weeks ago, swelling in jowl area, defined lump, no fever, head tilt, pain, etc. Our vet felt the same as yours. Gave us tramadol, prednisone and abx. Within 48 hours after starting meds she was vastly improved. It's now 2 weeks later and she is fine. It's a mystery that we hope doesn't come back. Sending good thoughts for your Cash
  5. I was just thinking of you the other day and wondering how things were going. Nice Update and thank you.
  6. Curious...I know this has been an ongoing problem for Bunny since before you adopted him...is it that his intestines "extract" too much liquid? The opposite of a diarrhea problem?
  7. Hugs and kisses to Kebo. Keeping you both in my good thoughts
  8. Awww Kebo is so thoughtful. He's been through so much but it sounds as though he still enjoys all the things he likes. Hugs to Kebo <3
  9. Google mega e or bailey chair for more info. Here's a link to get you started http://baileychair.blogspot.com/p/there-is-hope.html
  10. Sending good thoughts for Kebo and you
  11. There he is! I have a BIG crush on Kebo. Hugs and kisses for him. He looks fantastic and very handsome.
  12. Great update! Keep us posted. Sending good thoughts for Kebo and you.
  13. Give Kebo's squishy nose a soft, gentle kiss from me...I'm sending good juju for Kebo, Dr. Taylor, his staff and you.
  14. Exactly! Using the combo pills IMO is wasted money. Straight ivermectin is less expensive and prevents heart worms. Dogs should be treated as needed for fleas and intestinal worms. By using all these chemicals in a continual manner we're creating super bugs that resist treatment. Just think of all the issues people now have with treating fleas.
  15. Good news! We block our gang of six into our bedroom using a piece of plywood about 4 inches wider than the bedroom doorway and we covered it with contact paper in a nice neutral pattern. We prop this on the inside of the door frame covering the opening and it does a wonderful job. It's lightweight enough to move out of the way in an emergency, you can easily lift it with one hand, kick it to the side with your foot if hands are full and if it falls on anyone it doesn't cause an injury. We have several of them to block doorways from room-to-room, they're easy, inexpensive and unobtrusive. When not in use we just put them against the wall near the door or behind the door. We still use baby gates to limit access to areas like hallways that lead to outside doors.
  16. RIP sweet Bertie. We had wire fox terriers for years-intelligent, fun, smart dogs. So sorry for your loss.
  17. Yep 1/8 tsp 2x day here too. We mix it into pumpkin and then stir it into his kibble - no problems eating

    Eliza

You and Eliza have educated so many and saved numerous lives. Thank you.
  19. We use the liquid for our 14 y/o and we just squirt it right into his mouth. He loves the taste, it smells sweet to me so I think it is based on his reaction.
  20. You put him first and did the right thing for George. Your greyhound is out there, you just haven't found him/her yet
