Someone who is participating in the SS will contact you and ask you to ask their recipient what they like or don't like, and what their dog likes or dislikes. You then come onto this forum to ask that question without giving away the identity of the SS. While it is not required, it seems tradition has it done in the form of a poem. But many are just not poets, so you don't have to do it that way. Here's a quick cheesy example: Topaz and Mary, I've come your way, As Santa asked me on this special day To ask does Mary like chocolate and Topaz chicken I need to know as this plot thickens.... Ok, get the idea?

Anyone having trouble RSVPing? I put both my dogs in and RSVPd. But it takes me to a page that doesn't do anything. When I click go back to Cee magic's page I get an error. So far I only have half the group. None of the multiple boxes are there.

Ok. I put in everyone's email (2 if you asked for it, under your dogs name) and sent the invite to your email. Next step is for you to click the accept button in each email. Once everyone responds I click the "draw" button on the website. After that I'm not sure. We'll figure it out. I also tried to make sure you didn't get yourself. I think I did that correctly.

A little clarification. The RSVP date is when you reply to the email sent by the SS program. But I need emails to put into the program to run it. This is totally different from previous years.

I have one. That 12" offset might be fine for a young healthy dog. But what about when they get older? Or God forbid becomes a tripod? I've had 11 greys. Two were tripods. Another one was a 15.5 year old lady. My current Canidrome survivor rebroke her elbow 8 weeks ago. None of them could do a 12 inch lift. My door is a Hale dual flap, 11 x 23 and sits 5 inches off the floor.

It's probably because HP is now owned by Chubb ins. The CEO is a greedy sob. He bought Chubb about 7 years ago and because his company Ace had such a bad reputation he kept the Chubb name. And Chubb has been going downhill since.

You'll get a name or names however many you want. For example if you have 2 dogs and want both to receive their own box, you sign up for 2 names and send out two different gifts. And two different people will have the name of your dog(s). And you should get 2 boxes in the mail. We stated years ago $20 limit, but I'm not sure anyone stays there. But $20 will be the guideline. We use elves to help. If you receive a name ex: Chloe Jones. Mom is Edith. But you have no idea who this person and dog are. You ask someone who states they'll elf for us (another thread) through a PM. Elf then goes on the elf thread saying Santa needs help from Chloe and Edith as to what they like or don't like. Edith hopefully answers on the thread that you read giving you help in what to get them. You then mail the gift(s) before xmas. You will be given an address. (I hope. This is the first time I'm doing this and it's not a GT program)

Ok pm your emails to me. I've chosen the date of Nov 18 for the RSVP date. And Dec 17 to have the gift party. (Meaning mailed) Trudy stopped doing this SS because of the amount of work and stress involved. I don't want that. I'm not the secret Santa police. So please, if you sign up, follow through. Use a GT elf if you need to communicate questions or delays. Ok let's have some fun. Oh by the way, I've never used a SS generator before so let me know if you have issues and I'll quickly switch to manual assignments.
