You can get allergy tests done (not the skin scraping thing either) I had Brindle tested (she's been at the Bridge for over 11 yrs now) And she was highly allergic to Tall Ragweed and highly allergic to Short Ragweed. She developed her severe itchiness like clockwork by the third week in Aug (in NJ). We started the desensitizing shots but she died of cancer before we knew if it worked or not.

Considering I've lost 3 to this horrid disease I am most interested.

Don't think your dogs won't like cherries. My girls go after the plums, pears, apples and melons I have. With gusto. This time of year they eat a lot of fruit.

It's so hard to lose them whether you've had them 11 days, 11 months or 11 yrs.

I'm so sorry. She just missed her BD too.

I hope the vets that did the oops surgery at the start are going to pay for this too!!!

There are two types of cones. Hard plastic and the soft blue. If he's wearing the hard plastic one, maybe the soft blue one will work instead. My girls freak out with the hard one but Opal had no problem with the blue one. And it'll still be in the way if a wayward hind foot comes up to scratch the face.

I'm sorry to hear the update. Chemo can also damage kidneys. When Dima was diagnosed with a second OS leg, we couldn't give her anymore time because the pain meds were bad for her kidneys and she was also in kidney failure at the same time.
