  1. It's so sad when they never made it to their forever home. At least now, she is at her 4 ever home.
  2. Thanks for the update and yes, it definitely does sound encouraging. We are all with you and Snowy.
  3. Has anyone spoken to Hilda? Any updates? Praying for them.
  4. Oh no, oh no, oh no. You 've got majors prayers and good thoughts sent your way.
  5. Thanks Batmom, I kinda figured it could be arthitis. I remember my "Nana" having knuckles that looked like this. She had terrible arthritis. Luckily, she does not seem to be bothered by this at all.
  6. It's mainly that ONE toe on that one foot.
  7. You and your baby are most definitely in my thoughts.
  8. Chloe's toe is inflammed looking. She does not seem to be in any discomfort at all. I pressed on it and there was no reaction. All her toes look a bit large. Is this arthritis???
  9. I would not think the worst, although, I am one to say that! At any given time, one of mine is limping or walking "off". Currently it's been Beau for the past 2 weeks tripoding when he walks fast or runs. The last few days (I put him a deramaxx) he seems a bit better but it's also the leg he had major surgery on just 9 months ago. The leg has a history so i don't panic. If this is the 1st time, I would wait 3-5 days. See the vet, and if it's nothing they can see as a reason, have the x-rays done as a base line. This way you won't worry and I'm sure she will be OK. Sending prayers anyway since it can't hurt!!!!
  10. I think the MAXIMUM dose is 20mg for them for pepcid.
  11. Sending prayers even though we are sure you don't need them!
  12. Personally my feeling is dogparks and greyhounds= disaster. I know there are many who disagree and for them I am glad it's currently working for them. I'm so sorry your poor baby had to go through this. Hugs to you both.
  13. We don't do heartworm in the winter here. Only warmer months.

    A New Angel

AHHHH Moe... Poor baby. I am so sorry she did not find her forever home but you have to know she was a kennel favorite and had a lot of attention and fun there. She is pain free now. Run Free pretty Girl.
  16. OMG- I am speechless and angry that your poor baby was subjected to. That beyond sux. Hoping for a quick and painless recovery.
  17. We did the holistic approach with Teddy and I think it worked. He has some disc issues. I would go to holistic vet who practices acupuncture / chiropractic and set him up to see someone who can help. This must be unbelievably frustrating for you. Hugs.
  18. I am so sorry. I am adding my prayers for a peaceful passing for sweet Scooter. Hugs to you both.
