  1. A beautiful boy, obviously well loved. Glad you were able to make memories at the beach. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Rock Star.
  2. These days, 10 years is not that old for a well loved kitty. I hope that your Oreo is with you for many more years.
  3. You have always done what is best for Larry because you love him so much. Even the emotional roller coaster of the last few days was because he was foremost in your mind and heart at all times. I wish he could have stayed longer, safe within your love, but sometimes everything we do just isn't enough to keep them with us. He was blessed to be part of such a wonderful family, even if it wasn't nearly long enough. I think when you take a senior into your home, you realize that your heartbreak might come sooner rather than later, but yet you make that unselfish decision because the rewards are so great. I'm so glad that you and Larry found each other, and that you shared him with us, but so sorry that your heart is breaking now.
  4. Diana was beautiful, and so very loved. I'm so sorry you lost your precious girl.
  5. You know your sweet boy better than anyone, and if you feel that it's not time, then your heart is telling you the truth. Even though these ups and downs are so stressful for you and your husband, listen to what your heart is saying on the deepest level, and cherish this precious time. And give Larry a big, gentle hug from all his admirers. We hope to see that lovely face for quite a while.
  6. Oh, Susan, how you love your precious girl! It shows in every word and picture. We know how terribly hard this is, and you and Jilly are in my prayers.
  7. No, no, no! Oh, Adrianne, I'm so sorry. If ever a dog deserved more time in a truly wonderful family, it is your sweet Larry. While your heart is dealing with this most difficult of decisions, please know that they live in the moment. Whatever happened before he came to you is forgotten, and tomorrow is still unknown. It breaks your heart to see your precious boy in pain, and that is why you are letting him go. He knows how very much he is loved. You will both be in my prayers tomorrow.
  8. What a wonderful life she had, with the person who understood her best. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Aggie.
  9. Oh, Annette, I remember crying for you and Roy and Scarlett that day, and I'm crying for you now. I thought about you when we were in Dewey, and know how hard this anniversary must be for you. But like you said, I remember the day before you lost her as well. I took a picture of Scarlett in her wagon because she charmed me so, like she always did. She was so happy and so loved.
  10. Precious boy....I'm praying that he can feel better. Adrianne, you love him so much, and we know how upsetting it is to see him in pain and feel so helpless. Prayers going out to you too.
  11. Catching up on this since we got back from Dewey. So glad to see he's doing well. And yes, your vet is awesome!
  12. Your love for Angel is so clear in every word. What a wonderful life you gave her. I'm so sorry you lost your precious girl.
  13. Oh, my goodness! Between getting ready for Dewey, and computer problems, I'm just seeing this. Precious Ekko, please keep getting better and better. We love you!
  14. How often do you feed him? Do you think he would eat more small meals of something he really liked? Though our Tess isn't sick, she is so skinny! Nothing wrong medically, so it was frustrating. She wouldn't eat bigger meals, so we started feeding her 3 times a day instead. And she's put some weight on. Maybe more small meals of the "good stuff" would do it.
  15. We've had one dog and 2 cats who had seizures, and each time, I felt so helpless that I cried. It is so scary to see a pet you love and want to keep safe experience something beyond your control. I'm so sorry you and Rainey are going through this horrible time. You are both in my prayers.
  16. What a lovely, brave and unique boy he was. And how lucky both of you were to have found each other. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Lynch.
  17. How you loved her. And how she blossomed, like the beautiful Rose she was, safe and happy and surrounded by that love. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Rose.
  18. Okay, can you hear the collective sigh of relief? I'm so glad it's good news. You're like me, Sheila, with those lumps on Calvin's thigh. Don't know why I never noticed them before, but I was so scared it was something horrible. Hearing from you that he'd torn that muscle really helped, and our vet agreed that that was what it was. She said "there are no lymph nodes there"---Duh. No out of the ordinary lymph nodes anywhere else on the boy. Whew.... Very happy for you and Phantom.
  19. So heartbreaking.....I hate that this monster steals so many of our beloved dogs.
  20. Phantom, you're just a baby! We're sending lots of prayers and good thoughts out to you.
  21. Sending prayers and good thoughts, and hoping for a positive update.
  22. Mandy, sweet girl, sending lots of good thoughts out to you!
  23. Oh, jeez....no wonder you're not sure what to do. Can only send LOTS of good thoughts to you and Ollie, and hope that your boy is okay. ETA You were posting while I was posting. Sounds like a good plan.
  24. That really is wonderful news! You are doing a great job and so is Neyla. Please give her a gentle hug from her many admirers. Did you say you were going to Dewey? If so, we can hug her in person.
