    Steak

Oh Beth, I am so so sorry. I was so happy for you at Dewey when we were talking about him going 6 weeks with seizing. I really hoped things were under control and you and Steak would continue to cuddle for years to come. My sympathy goes out to you, Bruce and the girls. How terribly sad.
  2. brave beautiful bee Words can never convey how sorry we are that it was time to let her go. We will never forget sweet Bee with her bunny soft fur and shoe button eyes. I'm so glad we got to spend time with all of you at Dewey. It was with a heavy heart I said good-bye on Sunday, and it's and even heavier heart knowing how painful this is for all of you. Good-bye sweet Bee, you are loved and missed and never to be forgotten. Love Jan, Dave and Ben and Brooke

  8. I am so sorry for your sudden loss of Molly.
  9. I am so sorry, I know how difficult it is to have to make a decision right away without time to say goodbye. But you did it out of the enormous amount of love you have for her.
  10. I am so sorry...she was such a sweetheart.
  11. This is my belief too. Actually I read an article about this written by a vet who talked about everything in this universe is energy and so our beloved pets are always here in this universe in some form. I like to think of Bailey as a gentle breeze that caresses me when I am really hot and sweaty, or the ice I slipped on. But I love Heather's analogy about the energies that are drawn to each other especially since Bailey was "my" girl and only trusted DH and I in this world.
  12. She's adorable. You sound like wonderful grey parents. Welcome, thanks for sharing, and looking forward to more stories and pics!
  13. What a lovely tribute to your sweet Harrison. I'm so sorry for your loss.
  14. if gums are bleeding,it usually means they are inflamed. I would continue to gently brush to try and keep them healthy along with the other things you give her. Sometimes, people who floss say the floss cuts their gums, but it doesn't. The gums bleed because of the inflamation and need more care to cure gingivitis.. So I imagine this is the same with dogs. Brooke's bleed too but I still brush. Imagine how bad they could get if you didn't brush.
  15. Awwwwwww...poor Robin. Hope this flare up isn't near as bad as the last .
  16. Maybe she's not afraid of her owner...perhaps it's the camera...

    Freya

I'm so sorry for your loss of sweet Freya. Your tribute to her was very beautiful, and although her time with you was very short, I'll bet it was the best time of her life.
  18. How wonderful! Bailey has a paver there as well. It's comforting to know Bailey will be with her longtime friends in memory in the garden.
  19. Houndstown makes some really nice coats. Julie sounds adorable. You'll find greyhounds make really awesome pets. Hope to see some pictures sometimes of your beautiful girl! Thanks for sharing her with us.
  20. Sending lot and lots of good thoughts for the lovely Miss American Idol. Hope you feel better soon sweetie.
  21. I have tried feeding Ben and Brooke raw turkey necks, beef, chicken, and pork. I've introduced small amounts at a time, usually on top of their kibble. They both get the big D for a day or two after. Ben is much worse than Brooke. If they ate raw at the track and were fine, does anyone have any idea why they get the big D each and every time I've fed them?
  22. Welcome from Ontario...he is very handsome.
