Good update. Would it be better if they kept her another night to make sure that everything is on the right track? You have taken her home and brought her back several times. That must be so hard on both of you! Wishing you the best. Thanks for keeping us posted.

You can use a belly band on a male. Easier fit than diapers, and easier to keep on. You can put disposable pad inside or folded cloth diapers.

It gets better. My SLO dog first lost all his nails over a two month period. After a few years he would go for months without issues, and then lose only one or two at a time with no problem.

Hope everyone is ok. All of mine would vomit within five minutes. Good to know that it could take an hour. I always used one capful, with another after five minutes. I never had to wait longer than that. Sorry for all that you had to go through!

Use a thick sock to cover the strap.

Specky does it a couple times a month. I've never seen it in my other four. I use the blow in nose trick to stop it, since it works with her. I had another dog that stopped when I lifted her head and rubbed her throat. Another would stop when I gave a sharp yell and clap, because it startled him. Some dogs just need to stop on their own. I've never had a dog do it with a long pause between like in that video. Glad you figured out what it was, because it can look scary.

I use the Outward Hound pupboost lifter for my 13 year old front leg tripod. Only costs around $10. Lightweight, nice padding, has handles. You can get it on Amazon. It's just a close fitting sling. No complicated or uncomfortable buckles or straps. Check it out.
