Proper Introduction

Hi all! I posted a pic once in the "Home for the Holidays" thread right after we brought our grey home, but I didn't realize it was proper GT etiquette to start off with an introduction, so my apologies! :)

This is Manley. My husband and I adopted him the day after Thanksgiving (and boy are we greatful!) He is just a joy, a sweet sweet pup. We love him dearly (and so do our parents, his grandparents!) I am now familiar with the rules, so here's some pics!

This is his adoption listing photo:

This is us on our way home from the rescue group!

He's really getting the hang of this retirement thing:

He's also a big fan of the car.

Thanks for looking! And thanks for the advice I've been reading on this forum! You guys are great. You didn't even know it but you helped us through a touch of SA. Manley wasn't destructive, just lonely and loud. We worked hard at alone training, and now we can be away for around 4-5 hours max (although we aren't that often) while he is relaxed and snoozing.

Handsome boy! So glad he's adjusting and you've licked the SA thing. Good job! Hope to see lots more pictures. :colgate

There's no proper way to introduce yourself here -- this forum is just an excuse for more pictures. :) Welcome to you and Marley.

Welcome from a fellow New Englander. :) Manley is very handsome. I'm glad to hear that his SA is subsiding and he's adjusting well. My first dog, Lexi, had severe SA and it took us well over a year and a lot of patience to work through it.

I look forward to seeing more photos of Manley.

What group did you adopt him from?

Welcome from down the road in Rhode Island! Your baby is a grandson of Jimbo Scotty? My JJ is a Jimbo Scotty baby. Interesting, it looks like Manley has that little "J" hook in his tail that so many of the Jimbo Scotty babies seem to have!

Congratulations and best of luck with your boy!
