Guest WarmheartedPups
Its been three years this month since Otis passed...about one month short of ten years old. One unexpected, painful, guilt filled, horrific ....out of control day....and he was gone. A day that started like any other...ended in a day that I will never forget. Itchy Otis, son of Molotov....Oaty Boy....Oats....a big fuzzy galute....my first Hound....a friend to all..... He was terrified of couches and human beds....keep him on the floor and he was fine. He was a great ambassador at Meet and Greets....never met a person he didnt like....or a treat he wouldnt gobble down. At 90 pounds...he would lope around the back yard...stretching those long long legs....just enjoying being free. He was a HAPPY dog....alwlays smiling. He was my friend....my buddy....some days he was my strength......he WAS my soul dog....still is. I miss you Boy.....I will always miss you.....and I will always remember you... Charla
I can't believe it's been that long, Otis was such a beautiful boy. I think of him whenever I start a new WFBUCC, he was one of the original founders and one of the reasons it came into being. GeorgeofNE
Oh my, how I miss Otis! Here are the three most Unruly boys, founders of the chat club! They went to Kenya, to think "dry thots." Here's Otis, practicing his mantra somewhere in the desert! And finally, his send off (sad to see that Logan and Gryf, in the picture, have joined Otis) Three years later, not my dog, never met him in person, and this thread made me sob anyway--that's how Otis touched me.
