For a variety of reasons, I chose to try to manage the pain and spoil him for his last days. On Friday it was clear that the pain and his limp had progressed beyond tolerable levels and I couldn't risk the terrible pain and trauma of a pathological fracture. I lost Enzo to the same disease 18 months ago. Subway was only six and a very sweet and gentle dog. He'll be greatly missed. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
