GeorgeofNE
Thanks again. I'm just a bit worried (I know, I know, I'm a worry wart) about his creatinine levels. They were elevated even for a greyhound - 2.2. If his BUN was normal, do I need to worry? Any feedback would be much appreciated. George has NEVER had a normal creatine level, even greyhound normal. Urine tests all normal, and BUN normal. I sent his result to Dr. Couto via email because my vet kept testing and testing and testing, and Dr. C said that the creatine level, absent any other issues, was not a problem. MerlinsMum
I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to update today, it's just been a crazy, crazy day, and I had to go to the vet to get some probiotics for Merlin, too. He had bad diarrhea this morning, but I expected that - his stool this afternoon was not as bad. The probiotics will help. He's on antibiotics for a few days. He was still VERY drowsy this morning - I took him out and he seemed very confused and a bit bewildered by his surroundings. But by lunchtime he seemed to have perked up, and by this evening he seemed almost back to normal He is very snuggly Have I mentioned how crazy I am about this boy? :blush Now we're just a little anxious about the lab results - and DH, who called me "ridiculous" for worrying the other day, is now just as worried as I am He's actually more worried about the lump on his side than the one on his gum... Fingers crossed. Thanks for your continued good thoughts! Quote Kerry with Lupin in beautiful coastal Maine.
