Sadie's Titer

The vet just called and Sadie's titer has gone from 1:18 to 1:8. :yay:confetti:yay:confetti

We're going to medicate just once a day and not test titers again until/if she starts displaying symptoms.

I'm scared to just stop the meds at this point, but she's definitely in remission and maybe one day soon she won't have to take the meds at all. If this is going to happen it will probably be within the next year or so. But there are dogs who require meds for the rest of their lives so we're not going to get too far ahead of ourselves.

My little monkey is getting over the valley fever hump so today is a good day and we celebrate. :) Vet says she's looks good, she's put on weight and seems to be healthy otherwise. :)

Wonderful news!!!!!! Our Lexie has been on VF meds since Sept. 2006. Her titer dropped from 1:32 to 1:8 but hasn't gone down any further. However, we just feel fortunate that she shows VF symptoms and is a happy and hungry camper.

So it truly comes from our heart when we say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
