BauersMom
I just got a call from one of our volunteers. She let the dogs out and two of them collided in the yard. Maggie went down and was instantly paralyzed. They're headed to a specialist in Manhattan at the request of the e-vet, and we don't know anything at this point. Maggie is the sweetest little black houndie, and my heart is just breaking. If you can send any good thoughts to Dawn and Maggie, it would be greatly appreciated. Quote With Buster Bloof (UCME Razorback 89B-51359) and Gingersnap Ginny (92D-59450). Missing Pepper, Berkeley, Ivy, Princess and Bauer at the bridge. RobinM
OMG- I am so sorry. I am a nut case when Chloe and Teddy get out there and run, Chloe always looks behind her and not where she is going. This is one of my biggest fears. Do you have any idea of who she is bringing her to? Please update just as soon as you can. Maggie will be on the top of my prayer list. Dawn was petsitting the other dog because his owner had to go in for surgery for colon cancer. So the whole story is just so upsetting for everyone involved. I need to figure out who else can watch the other grey because there's no way Dawn's in any shape to take on the extra responsibility. Guest wmlcml6
Oh dear! Dexamethozone and acupuncture (asap) is what helped our Curly Sue when she had a stroke and was paralyzed on her right side. She was always weak afterward (12 yrs old) but she walked and occasionally ran after she recovered. our vet said the sooner acupuncture is administered, the better the chances of recovery. Prayers that she will be fine soon.
