Guest KennelMom Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 I think the only thing that keeps all of us going...Ken, me and her medical team...is that through all of this, Harmony's tail keeps wagging. She wants to keep fighting so all of us want to give her that chance. The docs have said they've seen dogs with anemia so sick they don't want to get up or walk around. I'm not the most religious person in the world, but I do believe that St Francis watches over these souls. How far are you from Carolina Vet Specialty? They are on S. Tryon in south Charlotte. That is who Mia Bella sees, they don't see regular patients at all, only specialty cases. We're about 1 1/2 hours from south Charlotte...Right now, Harmony is at Upstate Vet Specialists. Sounds similar to Carolina Vet Speciality...they only take referrals. All the doctors on staff are board certified in their area of expertise. I think the opthamologist our pups see that visits down here at UVS might be from Charlotte...maybe even CVS. Dr. Presley has been amazing in treating Harmony and he's been totally open to discussing everything with us and consulting with OSU so far.
