Our Rosebud (who I raised from birth) broke her leg and we got a call post-surgery saying she could be picked up in a hour, and then a 2nd call saying she went into cardiac arrest and they lost our baby. She never got to experience retirement, but I know that until she died she knew how much she was loved by everyone. I planted a rosebush and some small flowering plants in her honor where she is buried at the end of our puppy runds. Maybe you can do something like that in Frisco's memory. It keeps her memory fresh because I picture her every time I look at the garden. Rest in peace, sweet boy. God must have another plan for you. It might be a good idea for the future to get Chico's anesthesia profile for any other hounds from his litter.
