Jeff
Left Seneca Falls today at 2:11PM Arrived in Ann Arbor MI a little after 11PM 441 Miles today Lots of construction along the way slowing us down. They should just post a single sign... Construction next 5773 miles! 25 Wal-Mart Trucks, all in the US. The Canadians who say they have never seen wal-mart trucks, are only half right. We went buy 2 wal-marts in CA, and they use plain white, unmarked trucks in CA, so you would not be able to distinguish them from anything else on the road. On the US highway, we saw our first one in less than 3 miles, in 6 miles we saw 3, and had seen 11 by 50 miles! Fuel leaving Niagara Falls, was 4.13 per gallon Things written down to look up when we got to a net connection: Population of CA Why do we yawn concert, John Waite with Survivor Next post will have the wal-mart trailer entries

Guest ProudGreyMom
Thanks for the update. I saw one big old Wal-Mart truck in a 45 minute ride to Lake George yesterday. They are out there lurking everywhere.
Jeff
417 miles today and another 17 Wal-Mart trucks, bringing the total to 42. Just got in to Madison Wisconsin things to look up: Difference between fruit and vegetable (If it has seeds, you can almost be sure it is a fruit) How much is a 'smart car' and could it possibly be cost effective (11.6k - 16.6k, seems useless for most people) what is the deal with the Sears Tower. Guest tricolorhounds
I'm really shocked that you've seen so few Wal-Mart trucks... I routinely see 20+ in the 50 mile drive from my house to San Diego... and add to that 30+ Costco trucks...

No, we came over north of Detroit Beautiful Flint, Michigan; I remember it well. Any problems getting in or out of Canada with the pups? Did you need any paperwork for them besides proof of rabies? ...............Chase (FTH Smooth Talker), Morgan (Cata), Reggie (Gable Caney), Rufus (Reward RJ). Guest larock
Wow, I'm Canadian and that stat blew me away. That said I live in Toronto (GTA), popuation just over 5 million, so It really doesn't seem that sparse to me! If I wanted I could visit at least 15 Walmart stores in one day (not that I would reccommend this<GGG>!) In fact I'm on my way there now...
