After he said the word, twice...I kind of lost consciousness...he said it was malignant. If it comes back, it'll probably show up in the spleen or kidneys. We'll just watch for the symptoms again, and go from there. Dear needs to stay at the vet until he's eating better. I've cried a couple of times, even in public since I was out having dinner when the call came through and I don't think its really hit me yet. The others sense something is wrong. Pipi keeps nuzzling me under the arm. I was afraid this was what Dear had because of the location, but I hoped that it wasn't. We lost my beautiful black boy Rex to hemangiosarcoma. We didn't find it until it was too late. Sending big hugs because I know you will be needing them, Tonya, mom to May, and my angels Vinnie, Rex, Red, Chase, and Jake. Dear's appetite is huge & he's starting to act frisky again, he's starting to act a little like Dear...so now my goal is to get him fattened back up...greyhounds lose weight so fast...and get him home where I can hug him a lot. I've been so busy helping my son with the house renovations and packing and unpacking I've barely had a moment for GT. I knew about Snowy and have her in my prayers but just saw your siggy about needing prayers for Dear and found your thread. I just finished reading all of it and when I got to just now I swore pretty badly. I'll pray for all your loved ones and hope Dear comes home really soon. I can't imagine how you are feeling.
