PAWsPups
We helped our sweet old girl Willow over the bridge yesterday. 15 is old for a greyhound, and we didn't adopt her until she was 13, but it does not make the loss any easier. In the nearly 2 years this wonderful lady graced our home she brought us much joy and laughter and taught us patience. Even though we have 4 other greyhounds right now, our home seems so empty. How can one being possess such a presence? She was always there, ready to bark at us for treats, or tell us its time for dinner or to go out. Now she is gone, leaving only wonderful memories along with an ache in my heart. Run free my sweet Willow. We miss you and love you. Fiona3
What a sweet and gentle face Willow had and how wonderful of you to give her a home at 13 years old. She clearly found her way into your heart and I'm sorry she was with you for only two years - it sounds like she lived a life-time of love with you during that time. May that empty ache you are feeling be filled with the memories of the special time you had with this lovely girl. :f_pink Quote Hobbes - April 2, 1994 to April 9, 2008-----Tasha - May 23, 2000 to March 31, 2013 Fiona - Aug 29, 2001 to May 5, 2014-----Bailey - March 22, 2001 to Jan 20, 2015 Zeke - June 1, 2004 - Jan 26, 2016----Callie - July 14, 2006 to July 27, 2019 Forever in my heart: Chooch, Molly, Dylan & Lucy
