She turned 12 today, and has been starting to suffer from arthritis for about six months now. I am at peace with what is going to happen, but it doesn't make it any easier. I plan to stuff her with as many cookies as she will eat and spoil her rotten... It makes you realize that you need to savor life and appreciate what you have.
