  1. Hi everyone, I haven't been here in ages and ages... I love this photography thread. I've been a fan of galgomum's photography for some time, and love the terrific shots posted here. To chime in a bit late, I've been using pic monkey lots lately - it's easier to use than picnik was, but has the exact processing tools. I have a feeling the good stuff won't be free for long. I also invested in radlab's filter package. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. It saves a ton of time post processing, and works as part of filters on photoshop. Check out http://us.moo.com/ - I've seen their cards in person, and they are good quality.
  2. I'm so sorry Caroline. True was a one of a kind girl.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
  6. I'm having a similar problem with one of my greys, except he does it during the evening. I know he is not sick, because he will happily eat when he is having anxiety. He was also desperate to go back out and did not want to come in, which makes me think it is something in the house. Lots of people suggested that perhaps he can hear some high pitched frequency that we can't and that is what is freaking him out. For a while, I tracked the episodes and took note of what was on in our house - furnace, dishwasher etc. The only consistent thing I came up with is that it may be our old TV. (Which makes my husband happy because he is dying for a new one!) People also suggested that I try melatonin - which you do not need a prescription for. They also said not to coddle him when he is all worked up, so it sounds like you are doing some good things. Good luck! I know it is very frustrating - especially in the middle of the night!
  7. Patsy was a magnificent boy, and an old soul. I feel lucky that I had a chance to meet him. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Jen. He was a special dog. Kelli
