smday Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 I had posted a few days ago on the temporary forum that Oba was ill. He responded to the antibiotics for a few days but really went down hill this weekend. We took him to the vet his morning and the vet felt he was substantially in worse shape than he had been a week ago. She believes that he had an aggressive cancer. He had been on a slow decline since his tumor was removed about 16 months ago and we all felt he had been through enough. I opted not to put him through more invasive testing and we sent him over the bridge this afternoon. I am sure he will be wreaking havoc over there shortly. He used to be such a maniac. He was my first greyhound and was given to me by a friend who could not keep him. Jonathan and I love him dearly and are heartbroken.
