I did keep an eye on Dancer and would also give her a quick wipe when I saw it. I think she really only had girlie issues a couple of times in all her years with us.

Dancer would get vaginitis once in a while. My Vet said sometimes with girls, it's just the way their anatomy is laid out, so to speak. :lol Sometimes Dancer would pee and a bit would dribble into her vigina folds and if she didn't clean herself up, she would get red and swollen. She had her very own tube of Vetalog and I would treat her for a faw days. She never had a UTI that I know of as a result though. UTI can be very painful. Hope Ady Bea is feeling better quickly. As for more water, you can try soaking her kibble.

:yay Danger is a Nitro dog also. Her name does not turn up anything on GD. Although there are 813 dogs with the Nitro prefix. :lol

We've heard some horror stories about using Advantix on greyhounds. I know at least one vet that will not recommend Advantix for dogs when the family also has cats. Flea and Tick treatment is a personal decision, based on what is best for your dog, your household and your area of the country. All medical treatment and advice should always come from your Vet and not the internet.
