I am currently having no problems at all with IE 8. But if I were to change to Chrome, understanding that I am only marginally more comfortable with computers than Claudia, will I blow my computer up . Seriously, will I just have th eoption to use either browser when I click onto the internet or do I have to delete IE?

Turn down the brightness of your screen when you are on GT. I don't really see this as being any brighter. It's not so much that the page colour is brighter, to me it appears a soft eggshell shade, but the actual text areas are wider, I think, and that increases the overall page brightness. If I recall, the page background showed a good inch on either side of message and text areas... now it appears less than a quarter-inch. But that's more an apparent style of thing, and will be perceived differently. I do use the brightness and contrast controls on my monitor; some full-screen games and applications are a bit bright, whilst certain 'websites of a questionable nature' require full brightness. So's I can see. Ahem. Most of 'em are amateurs, after all. Giggity. I find just adjusting the contrast will do the trick for different comfort viewing pages on different websites. Yes thank you that is it. And also, the turning down the brightness of my screen? Worked wonders.

This so hard and I'm so sorry you are facing such a grief. I also worried about Jilly when Jack was diagnosed with osteo. I didn't want her to be alone either. Although she didn't have huge separation issues, she had experienced some earlier. For me though I always wanted two dogs so it was just figuring out timing. I didn't ever want the new dog to be a "replacement" dog in my mind. Is a second dog just not something you would want again or just not something you are ready to consider yet?

Other than the new topic/reply boxes there is no white, HTML #FFFFFF Seriously? The glare from the page is significantly increased in this new format. I'm really surprised you don't notice. I can't stay on without discomfort anymore. It makes me sad.

Jeff I find the ultra whiteness of the screen now very very hard to look at now. Is that one of the be patient things or one of the get used to it things. Thanks.

I don't "float" the kibble. I add a little bit of warm water. A tablesppon of canned tripe or sardines and put it down. And really they eat so fast dry kibble would NEVER do anything for their teeth.

Ah Xan my heart is heavy. I think it's okay for you to listen to yours and to Happy and then you know we'll support you in whatever you need to do from there. Fight on or let go. I know how hard it is to see clearly when you are battling so hard and love so deeply. I can't offer any advice because I don't know anything about this disease and I'm not living with Happy. Just know that we know whatever you choose will be right because you do know her best and love her so much. edited because it sounded like I was suggesting you give up.

Josh uses a Therapaw for his corn foot. It's great for him. He doesn't limp with it. He never minded it at all and it stays on for walks just fine. He doesn't need it for anything else. Unfortunately he hated the NeoPaw and I couldn't get him to wear it. I hull his corn with my fingernail actually. He won't let me dreml it as he is terrified of the dreml.
