  1. So she doesn't travel more than 5 minutes for herself for a good doctor? Arrrggghhhh...... Sending prayers she will let you help him!
  2. Apparently there is some difference of opinion as to where the shot is given: Canine Tick Disease FAQ Treatment - tick diseases
  3. 2002 Veterinary Clinical Pathology Clerkship Program It's a nasty injection
  4. Depends on the condition of the teeth as to whether vets use atbs starting before the dental. Values look normal
  5. Sending my sympathy & hugs
  6. Glad it went well. Were it me, I'd put him on doxy and see if the symptoms subside. The e ewingii doesn't show in a panel. You have to do a PCR.
  7. August 27, 2007 Hi Diane, Just for kicks I was playing the shell game with Winslow this morning. It's very hot here and he needs to keep his mind active. The pool was closed last week for maintenance. He's been going out for the Jammie Jogs at 3:AM and sleeping all day, so I thought we should do something a little different. Smart boy.. he gets the treat every time. He just watches me very carefully. I should take him to NY. If they would play it with paper cups and a treat, we could win some money. Glynis
  8. I take it there were cancer cells in a biopsy? Sending prayers.
  9. He is quite handsome! Hoping the staples come out and all is well. I wonder if you can do water therapy after they are out(?)
  10. Many times they test the diseases they do by blood draws. The two I mentioned are done by a PCR. Won't hurt to double check The other one is babsia gibsoni.
  11. Did they test for bartellonsis and e ewingii? Have you emailed Ohio State or asked them to contact Dr. Couto or Dr. Marin? Sending lots of prayers! I'd see if this vet can give her an acupuncture treatment --perhaps she could visit the vet school: Bridget Quatmann, DVM, CVH Specialty: Small Animal Roanoke, VA 24014, USA Tele: (540)343-8021 Fax: (540)343-6452 Email: bridgetQ@msn.com
  12. How long are you watching him? You need some meds. Cluster seizures are dangerous. I can't say what I think. How can you own a dog and not properly take care of them
  13. Diarreha when they have eaten something can be from obstruction (in other words, something else is in there). I'd take her in and let the vet check her.
  14. Yes. Austin was my indicator. When someone was nearing the end, he would spend time in the back bedroom. We (the vets and I) always knew it was getting close when he did this. If she is that tuned into Honey, make sure she sees her if you have to send her off Sending prayers.
  15. I assume they are checking for all the TBDs. Sending prayers.
  16. No to Dewey--I went once Hope your boy is feeling better quick!
