yes, it is a roller coaster. No one knows that better than Robin! I am glad that he is eating the z/d, I think (never had to use it) that it is pretty calorie intense, so they get a lot of benefit from eating even a little. Tramadol is a great drug for most dogs, but there are some that have issues with it. It is such a struggle to get them stabilized at the same time you are trying to put weight back on hang in there!

It sounds like a good plan. I have a cat that scuttles I try to tell her, if you didn't run like that, they (the dogs) wouldn't pay any attention to you, but she doesn't believe me. I have a baby gate in the door to the cat room, mounted about 8" above the floor, so the cats can come and go, but the dogs can't get into that room. Would something like that work for Mandy?
