  1. I am so sorry. Heartbreaking that he had to go so quickly, and so young. Rest well, Mac.
  2. Yes, yes she is. Her brother is completely unfazed by it.
  3. First snow for these two (at least in Nashville). Please excuse Willa's language.
  4. Try this link. To send a PM, just click the envelope icon in the upper-right corner: Choose Compose New and enter my username (ramonaghan) in the To field. If it's easier, you can email me at ramonaghan11 [at] gmail.com.
  5. I have the harness linked above and would be happy to mail it to you if you don't mind some embedded fur from numerous hounds. It originally came from Lucy @LBass who used it with her boy Spirit and then her tripod MoMo, and Lucy graciously sent it to me for my tripod Sweep. Then it went to tripod Tessie in Colorado and came back to me when my Willa had her amp in August. It's been a tremendous help to many of us, and hopefully will work well for your boy too. It's very lightweight and has no itchy seams or rough bits. PM me if you'd like it!
  6. How about a ramp? I even found the OhCanada link for you! https://a.co/d/14pum48 Full disclosure: We bought this for Sweep in her last months and she wanted no part of it, so we ended up returning it. It seemed well constructed, however, and wasn't too heavy.
  7. For those still keeping track at home, we did three rounds of Profender spaced three weeks apart—so we would kill anything that was dormant during the initial round(s)—and then retested last week. The siblings are negative for ova and parasite. Again, no side effects whatsoever. Let's just hope it sticks this time!
  8. She is amazing! And sleeping very soundly this evening, I suspect.
  9. Happy birthday, Milo! Fourteen is fantastic—must be all that wild-caught protein over the years. We all love you here and hope you'll stick around with Ellen and Gelsey for a good while yet.
  10. Yep, I've been very pleased with it for Doolin (Willa is not as anxious and prefers nekkid ears), though for storms it's all about getting the timing right, of course. I know Jan @FiveRoooooers has also had success with her homemade version (vet wrap, I believe) for Punkin's noise sensitivity.
  11. One of my all-time GT faves. As those dark patches faded she was left with the best Groucho Marx eyebrows.
  12. Gelsey! Excellent banditry. Well done for choosing a healthy snack—dearly departed camper and pumpkin thief Bea would most certainly approve.
  13. A winter wonderland indeed. So pretty! Mine are loving the 30s temps this week (far better than summer temps!), but there's not been a bit of snow here yet.
  14. A couple of pics: Just the wrong front leg but otherwise exactly her! (Miss Modesty.)
  15. What a beautiful boy Sail was, and clearly adored. Thank you for sharing this.
  16. That is Banjo, one of two shih tzus belonging to my husband's aunt. We used to visit them in Atlanta around the holidays (they're now in SC so not close enough for a quick trip). Sweep seemed to realize that although it was her bed, it was Banjo's house, and perhaps the sheer audacity of the bed hijack shocked her into submission. I believe this was also the Christmas the other shih tzu, Tater, hopped on an ottoman to sniff Sweep's butt.
  17. I'm not much on Facebook except for groups related to greyhound health, but occasionally it offers some gems, like this memory it showed me from 8 years ago. and then there was this one last week... Oh Sweep, you never had a poker face.
