  1. What a beautiful boy Sail was, and clearly adored. Thank you for sharing this.
  2. That is Banjo, one of two shih tzus belonging to my husband's aunt. We used to visit them in Atlanta around the holidays (they're now in SC so not close enough for a quick trip). Sweep seemed to realize that although it was her bed, it was Banjo's house, and perhaps the sheer audacity of the bed hijack shocked her into submission. I believe this was also the Christmas the other shih tzu, Tater, hopped on an ottoman to sniff Sweep's butt.
  3. I'm not much on Facebook except for groups related to greyhound health, but occasionally it offers some gems, like this memory it showed me from 8 years ago. and then there was this one last week... Oh Sweep, you never had a poker face.
  4. Willa got two bockses! And got to have an adbentoor getting them which was well worth it! Thank you, Vanessa and Fuzzy, for the great gifts. They're perfect, from the treats galore—we ALL think those Benne Wafers are yummy—to the ocean-themed toys. Doolin might have stolen the fish one for a test-drive, but Willa was a good sport. We also love the personalized ornament. It looks just like her! I'll post pics asap. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
  5. Thank you, Carmen and her mom Monica for the wonderful Christmas presents! Doolin especially loves the crinkly dragon (we even call Doolin a dragon sometimes*) and I am excited to try all the cocoa flavors. The socks look so cozy, and the treats for hound and human alike are perfect and will definitely be enjoyed. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas! I'll post pics later. * because of his breath
  6. Thunderstorms! Hookworms! That which shall knot be named! Plusalso Doolin would like to add skeery skooters in the middle of the sidewalk, reflective signs, and anything that moves in the wind. His mom would like to add Nashelorette parties and pedal taverns.
  7. Losing her at 5 is so deeply unfair (and I don't want to think about it with Willa). But what a wonderful legacy indeed.
  8. Same! Ours was delivered to a front desk/mail room yesterday. Doolin got his box, but Willa is still awaiting hers. Nothing is showing on our Informed Delivery.
  9. Wonderful photos! He is such a stunningly handsome boy.
  10. Best wishes to Elf for a speedy recovery and thank you for helping him!
  11. She learned from the pro! (Also: I can't handle that kissy spot on her head...she is so cute! )
  12. Thank you, Secret Santa! Can he wait to open it?
  13. Our second box went out yesterday. Our only issue has been creative postal routing. We were waiting for a gift that took the cross-country route from NJ to Nashville to Los Angeles to Memphis and back to Nashville, and now it's headed to its recipient in . It *should* arrive by Saturday!
  14. Willa finished chemo today! She got a signed certificate and a bandana, plus we got to ring the bell. And of course, everyone got cheezburgers plane. So proud of my girl and her spirit. Long live Wild Woman Willa!
  15. Gracie, you look so pretty in your housecoat! Is Mark holding down the Slumberball off-camera? Hope you are feeling more like yourownself, Don!
  16. That was quick! Yes, she can wait.
  17. Whosagoodboy? Well done, you two!
  18. Such a great story. Whiskey was such a handsome guy. And little did you know that puppy would grow to be what? 90 lbs? KLilly.
