I've used it with several dogs. All did fine with it except Treasure. She lost her appetite. She loved to eat, so that was serious enough to stop using it.

I'm so sorry. A similar thing happened to my friend's greyhound. He wa also young.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I don't think I would want to live with a dog who I could not trust. You did the right thing, especially if you gave toddlers around. Both the people and the dog have to be able to trust each other.

Treasure was May 6, 2013.

June 1 was four years since Loca was sent to the Bridge. June 4 was two years since Phoenix was sent to the Bridge. I miss them both terribly. They were one of a kind. Loca being Loca. Thank goodness for the rest of the world that there will only be one Loca Phoenix, what a silly and unique guy he was. My first greyhound and still the most beautiful dog I've ever seen.

Phoenix's skin also turned eggplant in the summer. Once Treasure's belly turned colour. Turned out it was a bruise from a fall on a slippery floor the previous day.

I've shared this with a friend in Budapest who has Galgos. Maybe she can help.

I had this cat problem with bridge angel Loca. She kept trying to kill my cat. I had to keep her tethered to my waist with her leash for a month and a half. Every time she looked at my cat she was corrected, and sometimes even squirted with a water bottle if she especially focused on Linus. I praised her whenever she ignored her. She was muzzled whenever i wasn't home. I never crated her. Like I said, it took a month and a half of consistent hard work, but they ended up being good friends.
