I am holding Chevy in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry you are going through this. I remember the vet coming to talk to me about the wound to Aquitaine's throat and putting voice to my fear which was that just 1/2" to the right and they'd have hit her jugular. The thought of Chevy being so sore and being attacked just hurts my heart for you.

Aquitaine sends big love to her half-brother. She went through a very similar attack 3 years ago, it is terrifying. Holding all good thoughts and prayers for Chevy.

Trying very, very hard not to laugh long and hard while at work. That photo is fantastic.

Not being able to speak with the specialist is unacceptable. Granted, it may take time for them to call you/text you/email you back but it sounds as though you are being blocked at every try. My specialist is not for neuro but he will return all calls/texts/emails as soon as he can. That is what I expect from my girl's doc. He doesn't have to drop everything when I call but he does have to be available to me if I need to speak to him. I do understand that he is at a teaching hospital so it could take time but he always gets back to me. Diamond deserves that! So do you.
