  1. Happy dancing at the office!!! Great news!!
  2. Deerhounds are a very special kind of wonderful. Godspeed, Ishmael.
  3. I am so very sorry. Fly on the wind, Aria.
  4. I am so very sorry. Fly fast and free, Zinny.
  5. Thank you all. She is unbelievably sweet. The sound of the neighbor's sprinklers had her looking all around this morning. She could hear them but they were farther back on the lawn so she couldn't really see the fine spray and we did a few silly spins. This is her first day "alone" in the house. She is baby gated in my bedroom, bathroom and hallway. Beds in my room and the hallway. My stepfather is home so she isn't alone. He hasn't had a dog since the standard poodle I had to leave at home when I left died. He is good with them, he likes them, but he has elected not to have the responsibility of having one. Based on how quickly he fell in love with Proxy (and the fact that he has a picture of an apricot standard poodle on his credit card) I don't think it will take him long to be won over!
  6. I am so very sorry. Fly free, Hattie.
  7. What a beautiful tribute. I am so very sorry. Godspeed, John.
  8. I am so very sorry. Fly fast and free, Peanut.
  9. Let's see if this link (sorry, still on iPad) works.
  10. Today I went to Anaheim and this little love bug came home with me. I lost Morgaine to a status seizure eight years ago today. I still miss Aquitaine so much it hurts but I think they got together on this one. Can't load photo from iPad. Ugh.
  11. I am so happy that Violet is home, has eaten, and has passed out. Hopefully, it is all clear sailing from here!
  12. I am so glad that Miss Doodles is home where she belongs. Equally glad today's storm turned out to be somewhat of a non-event. Hopefully, that has helped you with trips in and out of the house. More healing this weekend Miss Doodles!
  13. I am so very sorry Gilby had to leave you. It never does get easier, but that is a good thing. Be kind to yourself. You did your very best for Gilby. Godspeed, Gilby.
  14. Aquitaine had that issue last year with Amlodipine (the year before?). It happened virtually overnight and her teeth disappeared. We switched her to hydrazaline and all was well. It was horrible looking. I would suggest switching the med before any cutting. They receded pretty quickly once we made the switch. Apparently, this is a known, although rare, side effect of the Amlodipine when used for dogs. Good luck.
  15. Grey love is surrounding your girl with its power. Holding pretty Doodles in my thoughts and prayers.
  16. Now I just have tears running down my face. That is beautiful.
