  1. Any man brave enough to wear pink is and always will be the manliest of the manly men! Flashy, you're my hero! All that invasive examinatin' and no bones! The audacity of it all!
  2. Whew! That's much better news! Little by little, day by day, Mango will get better! Many prayers, healing light and hugs! Please keep us up to date on how she's doing!
  3. We all share your worry, Robin! Miss Polli is such an inspiration for all of us - and her Mom is no slouch, either! Hugs to all with hopes for sunnier days ahead!
  4. Inquiring minds want to know - how are Misty and Claudia doing today?
  5. I am so sorry that you are going through this with your Abby! Sending prayers and good thoughts to Abby and hugs of encouragement to you! And yes, by all means, contact Dr. Couto! Please let us know how Abby is doing!!
  6. Poor Mango! Prayers to her and hugs to you, Kate. Please keep us informed of her progress!
  7. Oh, thank goodness! That's absolutely marvelous!
  8. Oh, that is just marvelous! Good goin', Lee! Keep it up!
  9. Benign, benign, benign, benign, benign, benign, benign.
  10. We will all be praying for clean margins. It doesn't matter who does the surgery or any follow up treatment - remember Dr. Couto at OSU will consult for free. All that matters is how confident YOU are. Hugs to you, Monty and his "brother" Sam.
  11. Glad it all turned out for the best! Hope she enjoyed the chicken! Molly sure is a cutie, but then I might be just a "little" partial to those black hounds! Here come some good thoughts and healing light!
  12. Anytime our "kids" have to go in for any procedure, it's a worry! We'll be waiting for an update. Until then, Since Mandy may be picking up your distress vibes, I will try to send strong positive vibes and lots of healing light.
  13. I have no experience with broken teeth, let alone canine's. But I do have experience sending prayers and good thoughts for Vegas! Sounds like he should be seen by the Vet before it becomes a real problem.
  14. Have you considered having your vet contact Dr. Cuoto at OSU and send the x-rays for his review? Couldn't hurt. It sounds like you have been putting in some serious time and effort toward Bravo's rehab! Since you have such a detailed description of the time line and events, may I suggest starting a journal/diary/log of people, places and things? Oh, and conversations as pointed out in the "Signs" thread. Have any of the vets suggested a consult with an orthopedic specialist? Good luck and please keep us updated on your quest for answers! Hug Bravo for me and the girls!
  15. For all those who are sick or hurting and those who love them.
  16. I haven't examined Muttlucks for a couple of years, and I know there are several styles, but the last pair I purchased had an inside seam that rubbed Nikki's paw raw on the top. I now use TheraPaw boots for Suze who has the mystery limp and Anna who has a cute little twisting motion with her right rear foot that has actually ground/shredded the nails down to the quick. Sizing can be a bit tricky from what I remember - Suze measured a size T/E but I ended up purchasing a second boot in size T/D which fit much better. Never used Mushers Friend, but have read positive things about it.
  17. No experience with black squirrels - thugs! If you're comfortable with your Vet and the anesthesia protocol, a pre-dental blood workup would make sense. Of course, at the end of the course of the antibiotics when all the swelling goes away, perhaps a good "look-see" will allow your vet to determine if there is still merit in the original opinion/diagnosis. Would Shadow be cooperative for a prolonged oral examination? Sending prayers.
  18. Tumtumtum-tums to the rescue! How's Merlin doing? Feel better soon, Big Guy!
  19. Goodie, goodie, goodie! Clark is on the mend but we won't stop wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin'! Give that sleepy-eyed boy hugs and a kiss from me!
  20. Oh, I am so sorry! You gave him the best life he could have imagined! While most of us take our greyt dogs for walks in the neighborhood, Je t'aime walked part of the Appalachain Trail! He saw things, did things, tasted things, felt things that most dogs will never have the chance to..........but most importantly, he was with YOU all the while. Your love for him just oozes out of your words. May your grief be shortened by a sign from Je t'aime that he's Ok.
  21. I think I'll go and do back flips! Please, please PLEASE let this be the end of it for Sonie!
  22. Oh, sweet Bonnie! What a gorgeous girl you are! It's girlie-girls like you that give us hope! Hugs and kisses!
  23. Still sending powerful prayers and joining the "benign" chant! It just has to be!
