    Baba's Joe

We are very sorry for your loss. Joe is now pain free . Run Joe, run!
  5. Maybe Little One will be your siezure alert dog - if she's that sensitive, she may know when Phaelin will have another seizure. I'd keep my eye on her! Let's hope that whatever is causing these seizures can be brought under control quickly and easily. In the meantime, sending good thoughts for Phaelin and you!
  6. May you have many more good days with Boss. The photos are precious! Spoil him rotten, as if he's not already! Sending prayers and gentle hugs for everyone!
  7. I am thankful for many things, but that photo of Sexton is the whipped cream on my pumpkin pie! What an adorable face! Hold him gently, whisper in his ear and love him fiercely until he pulls away and tells you that it's time. I hope you have many more peaceful days with that handsome boy. Many prayers and hugs.
  8. Now, that's the way to end the day. Hooray! Nadir is feeling better! Let's be thankful for what we have and wish for more of the same tomorrow. Restful, rejuvenating sleep for Nadir and his Mom!

  13. Cancer is the result of a defective immune system - our bodies produce cancerous or pre-cancerous cells constantly but a healthy immune system is always on the alert and eliminates rogue cells. Anything that supports or strengthens the immune system can't hurt, but considering the expense of some of these supplements, the one credo I came to understand while researching Nikki's lymphosarcoma was that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. One of the very few "truisms" that is acknowledged by academia is that cancer cells "feed" on carbs, so feeding a high quality, grain free diet is a generally a good place to start. I am so sorry that you and Caesar are going down this road together! It is excruciatingly painful. You are in my prayers!
  14. Prayers and positive thoughts going to Alan and Susan.
  15. Oh,happy days are here again for Hobbes and Lee! Wonderful news!
  16. Oh, I can hardly help myself! What a guy! Parker, Parker, Parker! Let the healing continue!
  17. Thank goodness! This is the first opportunity to check in today to see how Miss Polli is doing. Happy days! Pplllleeaassee keep eating for Mommie, ok Polli? Shredded chicken is yummy! And yes, my experience with chemo is that it got worse after each treatment. Nikki made it through 8 of 13 and we had to stop. Miss Polli is going to bulldoze her way through as many treatments as is thrown at her - she's one tough cookie!
  18. Our prayers are with Waldo, his Mom and all who love and care for him. Our hearts are breaking for you.
  19. Hooray for Miss Poli! Thank goodness THAT"S over with! Now, Miss Polli, eating is the next item on the agenda. I think Mom needs her rest!
  20. Little bits at a time. Whatever he wants, whatever it takes. Stormy, please keep eating, OK?
  21. My "newest" girl, Anna, chatters when she is being petted - it's so sweet! You really have to get your ear close to her head, but she will be just chattering away! Ssooo sweet!
