  1. Tete, take it from me...Bada, a dog meant to be eaten in Korea, life is great!
  2. Hope to see you! I went back to the Eisenhower. I found the Quality Inn noisy last year. Lots of motorcycles.
  3. Is anyone going to GIG? Anyone even excited?
  4. You described Pearl to a T. Diagnosed at age 5, died at age 12 to cancer. When she needed a dental I took her to the big hospital where a cardiologist was standing by in case of any issues. She always did well. Cost a fortune, but she was my heart and soul. She passed 12 years ago and I still miss her.
  5. You just got a big boy. The more of him to love.
  6. I had an lp dog. Diagnosed at age 11. We did the tiebacks surgery. She made it to 15.5. The intubation thing is that the doctors keep the tube in longer than normal. The dog is way more awake when they remove it. That's all. And always careful with vomiting.
  7. When I use my regular vet, the price averages $400. When I use the veterinary dentist because of a high risk dog, it's been about $3000.
  8. Genie was the other one. She lived in Florida. Both Suzie Q and Genie made it to 20 years and 2 months. Genie actually had a limo ride to her 20th bd party and she made the news.
  9. BTW. My first loss was only 5. The second was only 8. But #3 made it to 15.5. And with the exception of one I lost last year age 6, who I adopted knowing she was in renal failure, everyone else (9 of them) made it over 10.
  10. I have said this Every. Single. Time. I now have number 12 and 13. The pain of losing them never gets better but the love I received from each one is just not something I could do without.
  11. Could he have gotten into onions? Those aren't safe for dogs.
  12. My vet recently told me that they're finding out tramadol doesn't work with dogs.
  13. Wow, gorgeous. What country does he hail from?
  14. My 5 year old had it. Liver enzymes were normal. But liver function tests, which are not regularly scheduled, were off the charts. She never made it to 6. I hope it's not that. Fingers crossed.
  15. It sucks, I have two on this list.
  16. I was outside working and Bubbles ran inside. Of all the new Christmas toys scattered around she picked the hedgehog to bring outside and play with. She had a blast.
  17. Factory farms where dogs are raised to be eaten. In Asia.
  18. Since photobucket went barf, I don't how to post photos.
  19. The HSUS does work with the difficult dogs. I just think she would do better in a solo situation.
  20. Can you open this? https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=285506893624558&id=100064957492134&set=pb.100064957492134.-2207520000..&source=42&refid=17&ref=bookmarks
  21. Irene, thank you so much for all the goodies. Bubbles is head over heal in love with the hedgehog toy. And she really loves the salmon treats. And I love the chocolates and socks. Unfortunately Bubbles got her Christmas neckerchief off already and decided to play with that. https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=285506880291226&id=100064957492134&set=pb.100064957492134.-2207520000..&source=42&refid=17&ref=bookmarks
  22. Vanessa. Bada thanks you so much for all the goodies. I can't post pix anymore but Bada received a toy with the word Naughty on one side and Nice on the other. A second toy is shaped like a slice of watermelon. A package with 3 large cookies, and 2 bags of treats. And momma gets to wake up with a cup of freshly made coffee from Charleston coffee roasters. Num! A huge dark chocolate bar (going to be in a chocolate coma soon ) A wonderful berber throw and the piece de resistance...a gorgeous pewter ornament of a pawprint. Thank you so much Vanessa!
