Guest roos mom Posted November 3, 2003 Share Posted November 3, 2003 I just wanted everyone that has prayed and asked about Roo that we had to let him go last Monday Oct 27, 2003. So hard to do!! He had been doing well up until Sunday 10-26-03. He was breathing very heavy and by midnight he couldn't stand up. He didn't seem to be in pain just scared. I stayed with him all night. We took him to the vet Monday morning and she said the cancer had spread to his spine and the tumors were pressing on his lungs making it difficult for him to breathe. Also, he was not able to unrinate. We had to make the decision to let him go. I stayed with him through the whole process and just kissed him and cried. I feel so empty without him. He's no longer suffering, and knew he was cherished to his last breath. Truly a gift of your love. Feel his love in your heart always, as your spirits will forever be connected.
