Hi,

I'm just a greyhound lover from the UK. My own hound is technically a longdog (Greyhound x Whippet x Saluki) but I am so obsessed with greys so I don't think it matters too much.

I volunteer as a walker for my local rescue, and I am applying to work as a member of staff there as well. My dog is 14 on July 4th 2017, but is doing quite well and is healthy. I've had him since he was a puppy, but when he does pass on, I will definitely continue to have hounds in my life (going to adopt one rather than get another puppy)

This is my old man :)

Hi, and welcome to the Greytalk board. He is ageing most handsomely indeed!

My last one was a Lurcher/longdog/grey mix too. A little more robust than most greys she was, and made it to 14.

It is good to know that you'll offer your home to another hound when the time comes around. In the meantime enjoy every precious day. I think as we get older ourselvess, puppies can often be just too intense.

Welcome from Colin, Andy and Paddy - irish lads currently residing in Germany.

Sorry for butchering the english language. I try to keep the mistakes to a minimum.

Welcome! Would love to see a full-body picture of your boy.

One of mine is a lurcher, we think. One of the guesses was part saluki, but I think he's part coonhound.
