charbess
Shopping around for heartworm preventative and someone recommended pets-megastore.com/au. No prescription necessary for orders from the USA. Price for 20 chewables for large dogs is $49.99 (plus shipping of $4.94) for the equivalent of Heartgard Plus. The best price I found from US suppliers was $76.95 for 12 doses. Anyone use this site?
Hubcitypam
Been using them for almost 20 years with no problems. Products have worked great - the brand name Heartgard is the real thing, just made in AU. I've used Heartgold and others over the years. My vet is fine with it.The staff is polite and knowledgeable and they ship fast. Once I ordered from Pets Megastore and KV Vet the same day and the AU parcel arrived first. I was heartbroken when Bayer made them stop shipping Advantage out of the country.Be sure to enter the code freeship1 and shipping will be free. tbhounds
One thing to consider --if your dog every becomes positive for heartworm disease while on preventive the company will not stand behind their policy to pay for the treatment if the preventative has been purchased online. Just an FYI.
a_daerr
Yep!!! Use it and love it. I know they won't cover me if my dogs get heartworm, but that's what pet insurance is for.
