RaineysMom
and we're back to soft poops again -- not the huge big D he had before, but the firmer poops aren't here now he just got his first Panacur dose this morning, and I'll give him 2 more and see how he's doing maybe a few days after that before putting him on strictly rice (or potato) and beef. I want to see if this round of worming does actually help. If I change the diet I won't know what worked. If he's still not too hot by Saturday we'll remove the kibble. thankfully, he seems healthy, he's happy, playful (and on full-out squirrel alert ALL day today again) and otherwise healthy. His ribs look SLIGHTLY less pronounced so hopefully he's added another 1/2 pound. Guest greytkidsmom
Have you tried adding pepcid? Kebo was on 10mg twice daily for two weeks when he had stress colitis after his first surgery. He got better from that but then I noticed that all three of mine puked occasionally for one reason or another until I started them on 10mg of pepcid daily with breakfast. Now, no more pukes

Now, no more pukes yes -- we started giving him a Pepcid in the morning and knock on wood he's been better since Kim, how is he doing today? actually, his poops this morning was the best since bringing him home! hopefully he keeps it up. He's still on 2 cups of Iam's Red Bag and a little oatmeal, taters, pumpkin and ground beef twice a day (he weighed in at 70.8 on Saturday (down from 71) and he's WAY too skinny still so I may up the food. I also started putting a pinch of cinnamon on his evening meal (someone here had said they used it for D) and I don't know if that is what helped with the better poop today or what Hopefully he keeps up the good work I actually (finally!) got a job so I'm hoping he can be 100% ok so no accidents in the crate (they'll be crated 6 hours total, which is longer than he's had to go since bringing him home). thanks for asking - and thanks for the advice and well wishes! I hope I don't have to come back and post here again!
