6greyhounds
Yesterday at 3 am EZ had another seizure and this time when he came out of it he was not acting his normal self - more confusion than ever - looking at me as if he did not know me - losing his balance with the left read leg, noticed that his left front foot was turned under for a little bit but he straightened that out. Another thing of all his seizures except for the 3 that he fell out of bed he is usually laying on his right side while he is seizing. He also seems to be drinking more water than normal, when I went to work and came home he had peed on the rag rug and a large puddle of pee in the middle of the room - he usually does not do that only if I don't let him out right before I leave for work and I am only gone for about 4 hours...... His last seizure was 9/22/2011 and his neuro vet thinks it was from everything that was involved when he was in the hospital and diagnosed with SIBO Quote It is better to have loved and lostThan never to have loved at allMissing my Big Blue eyed Bear

MaryJane
You mentioned that the neurologist thinks that stress may have brought on the seizure -- is he suggesting that the medicines be changed? It is more than a month since the last seizure so I guess he might also suggest a wait-n-see.
6greyhounds
Stress, the big D, and of course SIBO for the one in September - this one I don't know just wait and see if he has another one.......... 6greyhounds
3 month when they increased his KBr Quote It is better to have loved and lostThan never to have loved at allMissing my Big Blue eyed Bear
MaryJane
So 3 months is quite a bit of time and if stress caused this last one then I can see why the neurologist might want to take a wait-n-see approach. Is he still drinking more water? Is he back to his normal self?

RaineysMom
Beryl, I am SO sorry he's having more seizures again THEY SUCK. :( :( Rainey almost exclusively seized (fell) on her left side, only a few on her right. I'm sure that means something, but what I don't know. All of hers were during or immediately after eating too, but that didn't help solve anything. Sending MANY hugs. how old is EZ?
