Guest greytcritters
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...send some of that GT magic and prayers to my Yaz! He is my service hound and my GT angel that I adopted from flatland greys/tiffks 5.5yrs ago. He has been throwing up unexplained for the last 1.5 weeks with no other symptoms. At first we thought it was because of too much activity after eating but that cant be it since he is now throwing up without activity! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray it is nothing too serious! My sweet sweet cow dog! :(

RobinM
Well just got from Dr and well nothing obvious He took blood and is running a complete panel Please keep the prayers coming that it is nothing serious. I AM A WRECK!!!!!!! Sending lots of prayers for Yaz. Is he throwing up immediately after eating or a little bit later? I am going through this with my Chloe who is 6.5 She was checked twice. The 2nd time was last Monday and we did a full panel. Her labs were perfect, she checked out physically fine. Nothing obvious in the abdomen. Chloe had been throwing up an hour or 3 after she ate. Vet feels it's something to do with her aging system even though she is not old. She is just not processing the food through as she had been. We are starting on a probiotic before we start with any meds like regalan. As of tonight, she hasn't thrown up since last Friday. I brought in the treats he gets, food label to Kirkland, Fresh Factors, Joint Health, Vitamin E, no allergies It is anywhere from an 1-4 hours after eating. Doesn't seem to matter amount of activity and the food is not that well digested, you can still see any fresh factors/fish oil caps/treats ect in amongst the dog food mush Thank you RobinM I know have more hope this is something fixable, since your fur baby is doing better! I hate when they say they don't know what it is and of course THE WAITING GAME!!!! Thank you all for the prayers and please keep the good thoughts coming! Guest FullMetalFrank
Sending prayers for you and your beautiful buddy Yaz! Did they check for a blockage of some kind, maybe with xrays or an ultrasound? I will keep Yaz in my prayers; he is such a lovely dog. silverfish
I'm so sorry to hear Yaz is having these problems! I hope you find a solution quickly. Ask the vet if it could possibly be acidity - Jack would throw up after eating quite often, and eventually he was given acid reducers. For a while natural bio yogurt helped him - he was elderly and on Metacam for arthritis which is known to cause stomach issues, but perhaps it's something to think about. Meanwhile, sending a ton of good thoughts and well wishes his way!
