When we adopted her three weeks ago, we were told her teeth were terrible and yeah, they are. When she was checked up by vet with our local adoption group, he stated 20+ teeth need to be removed. So it's going to be a long one and I dearly hope she comes through it okay. She's such a delicate little girl compared to my boys and she is 11yrs old. Please send good thoughts Shelby's way. Tks. We also asked for x-rays of her back and hips because we know she has issues with one leg when she runs and the vet confirmed today she has back issues . We know these things happen to seniors but hopefully it's treatable as we want the best for her. These have got to be the worst few hours for any of us who own these sweet babies!! I'll ship you my mom's meatballs if she doesn't want to eat after!!! LOL By the way...my EZ who is 10 had 17 teeth removed last year....and he came through great.....adapted well.
