Guest SkinnyLegDogLover Posted December 30, 2009 Share Posted December 30, 2009 I haven't posted about Tigger's passing until now as I was too hurt and angry. Hurt that my precious boy was taken from me too soon, and angry at his vets who never could figure out why he was so sick. After 6 days, my heart is healing a little (very little) and I know nothing can bring him back. I can only reflect on his life. He was a wonderful friend, he brought so much spirit and happiness to my quiet life. He and Iggy & Buddy were the best of friends, spending most of their time outside under their tree in the Florida sunshine. Tigger had the worst case of thunderphobia combined with separation anxiety I have ever seen. If I went out on a nice day, he was fine. If there was a storm and I was home, he was fine. But if I was away from home during a storm, he was a wreck. He even escaped his crate one day, broke through my chainlink fence, and ran into the street and got hit by a car. He recovered fully from that incident, and I called him "the dog who would not die". But did, on Christmas Eve. And my life will never be the same.
